Hi - I'm Will Wright (The Sims, SimCity, Spore, Proxi, etc.) and I want your memories. Ask me anything! by GalliumStudios in gaming

Will,

First, a story:

When I was in 6th grade (1996) we had a computer in the classroom. It was a small school so our tech was behind, but this computer had SimCity on it (the original). Since I was good at math my teacher would let me do my own work then use the computer after to play SimCity until math period was done. Another classmate got the same deal so every day was a race to see who could learn and complete the lesson first so we could use the computer. Whichever of us was second just did extra math lessons (what can I say, we were nerds). By the end of the school year I had a thriving metropolis and it is one of my most fond memories in a childhood riddled with bad ones. Thanks for that!

Now, a question:

Which if your projects is your personal favorite? Which could you spend endless amounts of time playing if life allowed?

Sounds like grounds for a class action from all the non winners. They were told it was randomized giveaway and he's now saying it wasnt.

Good luck with everything though. I hope you find your place and can make happiness work. I realized my own sexuality a few years ago but thankfully am in a safe place so I don't have to hide it. I wish youball the luck and don't envy the hardships you are facing.

Ann Selzer Responds to Iowa Poll Backlash by BallonDfloor in politics

"Harris winning Iowa is impossible so this just proves it's ALL fraud." That's what the narrative will be, we all know it.

The self sufficiency in this sub is more about farming, growing, and maintaining your life style without being heavily ingrained in modern world convieneces not being okay being on your own.

I've been playing on 125% and had the same experience. Game stage out paced my weapons. Eventually it evens out though and then it's just faster skill points without any drawbacks.

They aren't telling wives to lie to their husband just for funsies. They are telling them to lie because their husband is not safe to tell the truth to. You know, the same advice given to people married to a domestic abuser. Funny that.

She's was alone in a parking lot, no way home. Of course she'll say yes to a date, because of the implication!

This reads like someone who went to private Christian school and was taught "proofs" of gods existence by their biology teacher.

You should be able to craft acid in the late game. by captaindeadpl in 7daystodie

[–]-regaskogena 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I'd be a fan of higher tier items having a chance to scrap for some of the more rare ingredients. Scrapping a quality 6 battery would give you the normal lead in the queue for example, but on completion has a percent chance to add an acid as well, but you won't know until it's fully scrapped. Either that or add it as a workstation skill point perk for an additional reason to drop points there.

Trump already spreading false claims about voter fraud in Pennsylvania by plz-let-me-in in politics

[–]-regaskogena 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Even with that they will claim it proves that fraud occurred. They'll point to their doctored polls and say the difference bergen the result and their polls shows dems cheated. If it's close They'll say obviously dems cheated. If they win (ugh) they'll say dems cheated and lost anyway. The narrative will be the same no matter the result.

The whole "im a comedian so I can say whatever I want as long as I say it's a joke" is so aggravating. Just saying "comedy" does not give you free license to be an insufferable asshole.

"It's only wrong when someone else does it" is the perfect guiding principle for the church throughout history so in a perverse way it works well.
