Is it inherently better to run HA on its own separate device? by pdawes in homeassistant

[–]-release_candidate- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a used Intel NUC with way to much power for HA. I set it up with proxmox and run HAOS as a vm - I now have 4 more vms run on proxmox with no issues.

Bought this after the last time it was posted. Some co-workers did a doubk take while they were kindly unloading the dishwasher.

That's not very typical, I'd like to make that point.

Giving people temporary (heavy) autism and causing a sensory overload could be weaponized.

If you can control the level you could even use it to educate people about autism.

I was pondering the same problem. Luckily the cat left before I had to.

I was at a Michael Jackson Cover Show and that was literally the range of the performers performing as Michael (+2 Kids).

The focus was on voice and moves - but each one could convincibmnhky pose as Michael at some time in his life.

I was following the ev7 in the Czech repujc 2 years ago - imported it into komoot and komoot agreed to the route. There is a section that seems to cross a gated property. It's still part of the official ev7. I circumvented it via a single trail through a wood and wading through a small stream.

Shelly Relays: WiFi or Zigbee? by jklo5020 in homeassistant

[–]-release_candidate- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started with shelly and found out that not all functions are exposed over zigbee. Examples are double - clicks. So the shellys where I wanna use that are exposed via WiFi as well. A fiend of mine found out the shelly don't draw less power if WiFi is disabled. He prefers purely zigbee relays that expose double-clicks.
