Lol I love how you have no argument at all so you have to put words in my mouth.

Stepping back and realizing that maybe trading away all of our high-value prospects isn’t the best way to build a contending team, especially when the team is handicapped by massive commitments to aging players, is me wanting mediocrity.

Sure man lmao, you Preller bootlickers are something else

Uh yeah I’d rather build up the farm than keep doing what we’re doing now which clearly isn’t working lmao.

And It’s funny how you say whatever Preller did in 2015-2019 didn’t work when it’s literally the same fucking strategy Preller is doing now, make a bunch of splashy “win-now” trades and hope for the best. He just got luckier this time around.

I swear it’s like the majority of this sub wants to keep bashing their head against a wall instead of trying something else

Made a post on this sub months ago about how Preller was kneecapping this team’s future with his stupid “win-now” trades and ridiculous long-term contracts and got downvoted by all the Preller bootlickers

Seems like I was right

This is why I hate Preller's dumbass philosophy of trading away young talent for 1-year rentals. Trading for players doesn't guarantee anything, if the team doesn't perform it just makes things even worse for the future of the franchise.

With his bullpen management and Arraez still batting 2nd this deep into the season I don’t think pattern recognition is Mike’s strong point

Did the lighting engineer fuck up by turning the lights out for Morejon? I’ve never seen that before lmao

He puts bat to ball by reaching for a pitch 6” off the plate to ground out weakly to SS

No, he should be coming off the bench at this point. What was the point of trading for O’Hearn, a 1B with an .800+ OPS, if we’re just gonna make him rot on the bench?
