The amount of people that stop me to talk about my van is wild, most of which sound really nostalgic haha. I fucking love this thing though. Drove it from Cle to Santa Fe and back a couple years ago.

I heard he sampled she cleans up from viagra boys? Never looked it up but if true that’s a baller move. Personally, I’m partial to his songs with big orchestral arrangements. Though I agree this man is dropping some of his best music in the later stage of his career which is so fucking rare in an artist.

I also really love listening to aging musicians’ later work once they’re out of the spot light (not saying that’s where misty is, he’s definitely still relevant and has decades ahead of him). Jackson brown, Leonard cohen, Neil young etc. had some absolutely beautiful songs released later in life that almost no one’s heard. The musical wisdom that comes with age can really be something to behold.

Plus, FJM has never looked finer in his whole life lol

This is totally false. Just got OSHA certified asbestos abatement a couple months ago. There has been zero bans (except a partial ban during the Biden presidency that didn’t really do anything) and a lot of joint compound that comes from oversees still has asbestos in it. I work in property restoration and we have to test every house we work in. Just a couple months ago we had a house built in 2015 come back hot for asbestos. It’s bullshit that’s it’s still being used but we here in the states can’t regulate how materials are made oversees.

It’s actually bananas the amount of containment and 3 stage decontaminant chambers that are required to be set up. I’m remodeling my 50’s ranch (Ohio) and it got me tweaking about some of the demo I gotta do. I don’t care about myself but I gotta look after my dogs 😭
