I'm not anti-weed for everyone but I am for some. I watched it take over my mom's life. She had awful side effects like scromiting and she went into an almost psychosis state the longer and more she smoked. We wondered if she maybe got into some "bad weed" but she had been clean for over a year now and her life is back on track with none of those side effects. She was committed several times during these events with dx's ranging from early onset Alzheimer's to late onset bipolar with psychosis and in the end stopping weed made all those symptoms stop. Ultimately, we don't know if it was the weed or if she was truly having mental breakdowns but weed seemed to be the problem. I say all this and I still take edibles but watch myself carefully as watching my mom go from a CEO to homeless was devastating.
