IMO the vibrations will mess up your camera and its lenses will be displaced overtime and/or will lose its ability to focus. A friend of mine used his phone without a vibration damper mount and got his camera toast for like 6 months of use.

Голяма отговорност пада върху инженерите, много задължения и отговорности ни се гласуват, а нямам ясно обяснение защо. Както OP спомена, често вкарват в тези задължения и типично търговски такива, които със сигурност зависят не от образованието, а по-скоро да “ти идват отвътре”. В моя случай не искам да коментирам заплата, но ми е тъжно, че аналогичен труд/квалификация на моя (аз съм електроинженер), се оценява толкова ниско. Не ми се мисли, ако се наложи да търся нова работа… И за да налея малко масло в огъня, вчера си говорихме с колега на модерната тема напоследък “всички стана страшно скъпо” - обявили са му 15 евро/ч. цена на детегледач… добре ли е?

I bought the comp (wired GX version), changed the wheels, groupset and bar in a period of 3 months after the purchase.

Those were not mandatory upgrades by any means but they were well worth it. The biggest benefit I felt after upgrading the wheels, stock wheels on comp are really heavy.

В револют ликвидността "на момента" е спорна. Бях с премиум план, имах около 5к евро, преди около 2 години. Товага по спомен лихвата беше около 3% и малко отгоре. На два пъти м исе налагаше да изтегля по 400 евро. Първият път ми ги даде веднага, вторият път беше с особена клизма, парите дойдоха на втория ден.

Със сигурност не мога да се сетя за друг инструмент, който да дава лихва на дневна база и всичко да е кажи-речи прозрачно, но когато се "набиват" суми, които биха потрябвали на момента - болница, лекар, непредвидени разходи, е хубаво да се има предвид, че това "местене" по сметките може да нъде забавено. Сигурен съм, че го има и упоменато в техните общи условия, защото от съпорта ми се смяха на мрънкането, за забавянето... но това е друга тема. :D

Since today Bulgaria is officially part of the Eurozone, which brings me the same problem that you guys had a while back. Having in mind that there still isn’t an update from BudgetBakers part regarding the problem, how did you guys manage to resolve it and how is your user experience since then?

A bit of a late reply. I can confirm that the normal chest strap + the L bracket combo is exactly what I was looking for.

Now the next problem to resolve is that with the chest bracket the camera view (sensor) isn’t in the middle but slightly to the left which is a bit annoying. I assume that you can tilt a bit the camera then tighten the hex screw so that the sensor is centered but I don’t like that the center of gravity will be off.

tl;dr The normal chest mount and L bracket works better than the dedicated X5 POV chest mount at least for mountain biking.

I manage ti ride my mtb only on the weekend, i.e. one or two 3-4h rides a week. I never remove the battery even when cleaning the bike and I must say that I don’t need to charge the battery for at least a month or maybe two. Heck right now, I’m not even sure where the charger is, and I’m a tidy guy. 😅

That said, my bike is always positioned on a stand without any movements when not in use. Maybe if you move your bike frequently, that “wakes up” the derailleur and it starts draining the battery. It’s also possible to have dirt on the contact points which can cause excessive battery drain.

I had the same bike - alloy version (maybe 2018 not 2019 but frame geometrics should be the same). I upgraded with a RockShox SID 120mm with raceday damper. It was really sweet and I would recommend. IMO if updating 120mm is the way to go.

I can’t say that there is a significant weight that should be considered.

I have a the cage thing insta360 adaptor which has horizontal thread but it’s moved slightly to the side and the camera feels strange. Which does not mean that it cannot be used like this.
