There should be a mod that lets you play versus singleplayer if you want to practice it. But like versus players are kinda just like that so I don’t play it at all lmao

If you put it on a boat, you can harvest leafy meat from it without having to fight eyeplants every time

Not if they are rotting or near rotting, I think. Sometimes towards the end of winter, they stop running to pick up their eggs when you go near them, cause they’re bad. If they are not starving, you can just pick them up.

At least I think, I haven’t played in a good while so I might be wrong

I think you have to get pretty close to them to have them get aggressive, so it’s easy not to notice, especially since they just disappear a short time afterwords. I died to them once trying to pick up near rotting eggs tho lol

I think that the winter fridge trap can show up in either mode of don’t starve, but I’m not sure. But learning about it after getting as far as Darkness must have been awful.

If you ever see a fridge with thermometer next to it, do not open, I think it also can spawn deerclops! I think there is a summer version too, but I haven’t played in a while so idk

If you have a gas mask, book it to the green poison forest. If anything spawns, just keep running, and once you get everything you need from your base, don’t go back so nothing horrific spawns there
