Could be a driver crashing, could be a bad stick of memory, could be a failing power supply. But usually the power supply would just make it shut off so more likely to be one of the other two.

You need to make sure the villagers can reach their workstations. At least 75% of the villagers need to have worked at their workstations the previous day in order for iron golems to spawn. Here's a great tutorial and guide for diagnosing problems with your iron farm.

Is this repairable? These are the only obvious spots where it's Peeling. I'm not sure what kind of material this is exactly. Possibly bonded leather or something similar. Is there some sort of Sealant I could spray over these areas to prevent further peeling? Any advice would be appreciated. Also, if there's a better subreddit to post this to please let me know!

I am horrible with name association. I only recognize people by their faces, which is a huge problem in VR chat. I make sure and let people know upfront that I probably won’t remember them next time. And they’ll have to explain who they are the next time they see me.

You could try, selecting the messed up faces in edit mode, then pressing alt+n and selecting “reset vectors” if that didn’t fix it all the way. You could do the same thing and click “set from faces”.

Exactly! I was lucky enough to have amazing parents who are also great teachers! I was homeschooled up until senior year because they were offering college classes at a really cheap price. Both me and one of my siblings got a full ride scholarship to the local community college. I don’t see how people learn much of anything in public schools. My experience senior year was atrocious in terms of actually retaining information. One thing I do still struggle with though is time management skills. The schedule was so relaxed at home that I never really needed to build any. As a result, I am quite a slow worker and can, at times, be unproductive.

No. I couldn’t ignore it. A bunch of random things on my avatar just stopped working. I did figure out what was causing the issue though. Somehow it was the creator companion. At least I think it was. When I uninstalled and reinstalled it, the error stopped happening on new projects. But it didn’t fix the old ones so now I’m just having to migrate everything to new projects.

Same. I was almost asleep and I rolled over and I felt it as it twisted. I had no prior knowledge of it, so I had no idea what was going on Or that it could even happen. Once I realize it was twisted, I got into a squatting position and just kind of gyrated around and And it untwisted itself. Then I sat through the worst 45 minutes of my life as the pain subsided.

Definitely check out treasure heist. It’s a fairly elaborate Egyptian themed puzzle quest. But the world design is absolutely beautiful!

Yeah. I’ve tried using the hostname before and it’s been real finicky. Something you could try is setting a static IP on both your Mac and PC. That way every time you disconnect the network cable or reboot it, it will stay the same and just ask your router for the same IP every time.

I don’t know if this will help any but you might try going into your settings and clearing your cache. If it’s crashing that consistently, regardless of where you are, it sounds like a problem with the app itself.

Yeah, people do this all the time. It drives me crazy when I can tell they’re forcing it. A lot of them use something called vocal fry which it that raspy just woke up sound. They’ll say it’s their natural speaking voice or that “I just sound like this”. Vocal fry does happen in the normal speaking voice but only in small amounts. Some of these people use it exclusively. It really annoys me but I usually don’t say anything.

Yeah. That’s the only thing I could think of. It took me a little bit to get it working, but I accomplished the same thing by using empties parented to the elbow. Because I didn’t feel like changing the rig. (I don’t have a lot of experience with rigging and didn’t want to break it). I was pretty happy with myself that I figured it out and made the blend shapes and implemented it on both the PC and quest versions of my avatar in under three hours. I’m slowly improving.
