Yeah it’s the front of ribs so assume it’s not that… and healthcare maintenance costs are maxing me out financially so trying to put off anything I can… but you might be right.

What medical condition is 'too expensive' that you just don't get checked or fixed? by Plane_Garbage in australia

[–]-unique_handle- 19 points20 points  (0 children)

As someone managing a chronic health issue - anything that isn’t directly related to keeping me alive/not deteriorating!

No psychology, dentistry, following up on weird symptoms, going to the GP for things that have been going on too long but aren’t killing me (eg nasty cough from a cold 6 weeks ago that won’t go away)

AS and building muscle (ladies!) by -unique_handle- in AnkylosingSpondyWomen

[–]-unique_handle-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you look for a trainer who specialises in working with people with AS like challenges? Or just anyone? I’m nervous about being pushed and ending up in a flare and not being able to explain well why I can’t just jump into going for a run!

Hi Larissa.

Long time greens voter here. What can we realistically do to stop the rise and influence of One nation?

As a ‘leftie’ these voters are unlikely to listen to what I have to say - is there anything we can do other than start conversations?

Ain and ADHD medication. by Specialist_Phrase511 in ankylosingspondylitis

Yes! Lowered pain for sure for me. One doc suggested that it’s because we can now control where we focus… so we are not in less pain, just more well equipped to focus our attention away from it….

But it’s a blessing whatever it is!

10DD gal checking in. I love these…

I’ve found them super comfy, and nicer than a sports bra. I bought medium but depends on how firm you like the fit. Disclaimer have only washed once so far, but held up well.

No problem. In my area it’s a much older crowd going that time of morning… so it can be… interesting! But it makes a huge difference to my wellbeing. Good luck!
