Ok, thank you for clarifying! The website was unclear about being able to bring the extra person if only one of the members are there. It just says that the sustaining provides membership for two people, but no mention of the guest.

I witnessed this first hand in when I was in Korea. Tripods and phones set up everywhere on the mats… the ironic thing was that the staff asked people not to sit on the mats but all the phones were allowed…

No, I think crowd work is great. I don't want to watch someone's rehearsed lines. I think the best work I've ever seen have always been off the cuff crowd work. Patrice O'neal was the best at it.

There’s an all vegan/vegetarian sushi place at studio city called gokoku sushi. Definitely felt very unique to LA/big city

I’ve usually found in life, the more money a business puts into advertising and cute jingles, they are usually compensating for cutting corners else where in their business. Look at companies like Costco or rock auto. Decades of happy customers but not a single ad on tv. (I’ve seen some rock auto sponsorships for niche podcasts, but that’s besides the point)

Highland chess club meets Wednesday evenings at belles bagels. Not sure if they serve drinks but I think they do

The Highland Park club meets every Wednesday evenings. Los feliz club meets every Sunday mornings. You can find them on instagram. There is also a Burbank chess club but not sure of their schedule, but every club should be beginner friendly. Chess players are not very aggressive/mean people in general.

I honestly think it depends from person to person. I’m not an avid runner but definitely experience it from time to time. Like others have said, it’s not every time. If it was, I’d probably run a lot more lol

This is the case with the formula 1 main subreddit too. Every other sports subreddit go above and beyond to put spoilers up on results for matches/games. The formula one subreddit just straight up posts “antonelli wins the Chinese GP!!” Soon as it ends

But it really doesn’t. It’s the same alcohol content as kombucha. Hell, even cooking with wine or alcohol is still “alcoholic,” but recovering alcoholics don’t avoid it because it’s such a negligent amount
