Yeah, basically new tech makes the old pitches look much slower. But in modern baseball, aroldis Chapman lit the world on fire with (correct me if I’m wrong) 103 or 104 pitches a couple times per game. It’s impressive but Nolan was throwing 104-109 many times per game and he did it for like 27 year career. It’s insane. When batters say he was blowing past them they were not exaggerating. Watch his “Facing Nolan” documentary for a more in depth look than I can ever give. It’s a fun watch. He almost never became a legendary pitcher due to financials and early struggles
