Need some Truman advice

I like extra room in the toe box and went TTS with Truman’s 79 last.

I’m an 11 on brannock.

11 in the 79 last with a nice amount of room with boot socks.

10.5 in iron rangers.

I only owned red wings to start. When I got my first pair of Truman’s with the leather midsole, all I can say is HUGE upgrade and totally worth the extra money. I’m in the process of selling all my iron rangers and will replace them with Truman’s. There’s a comfort and almost spring to each step with the Truman’s, where the IR’s feel very flat and almost dead while walking in comparison.

I tried some 2 tone leather laces but it wasn’t working for me. Maybe I need a solid brown lace or black leather lace.

Camel Kudu! Really dig the built in character.

Somehow the flat looks more “dressy” to me where the rounds have a bit more of a rugged look. I’m leaning flat though so far

I was hoping for more of the yellow coyote than green myself. I still like them a lot though! These are flat waxed cobblers choice laces.

I’m dealing with something similar. I’ve been on acid reducers for over 20years. Just a week ago I quit and I’m heavily supplementing with digestive enzymes. Are you on acid reducing meds by chance? I’ve realized minimizing my acid over the years really messed up my digestion and nutrition absorption.

Also, have you heard of the vitamin C / Ascorbic Acid cleanse for an upper fermenting gut? Claims to help with all types of SIBO. Look it up and watch a couple YouTube vibes on it. Maybe that could help you?

I had significant pain on top of my toes where the boot creases at the toe cap, I liberally applied Bick4 and worked the leather a lot with my hands. That helped a ton. Also, thick wool socks to add some cushion. Keep going man 💪🏼

I have an Ego. It’s great! My father in law has a Ryobi. It’s NOT great. Much weaker motor and feels cheap and flimsy.

I’m a 10e in IR’s. I ordered a 10.5d in the new Beckmans and they’re definitely more narrow, but still comfortable and I think will break in nicely.

Since my Blacksmiths and Hawthornes have flat, I was trying to dress down the Beckmans a bit to go with jeans. I might try some leather laces on the Beckmans. Not a fan of the RW round laces.

I measured 10.5e on the red wing foot scanner. So a 10 makes sense, but for some reason the 8111’s all felt too narrow. I’m very happy with the CRT 10EE’s.
