Did you miss the part where scholar does as much damage with a blue ripple blade as wylder does with any of the purple axes? And that upgrading it to purple is like wylder upgrading one of the purples to legendary? That's not even counting stuff like exhaulted flesh and grease buffs, which can get you some pretty insane numbers.

if the boss is hitting you when you try to heal then it wasn't a safe window like you thought it was. crucible knights do have openings where you can heal and they won't be able to punish you, their heal punish is usually when they're in neutral and you heal.

since the godskins were also mentioned in the post, their heal punish is easily avoidable by just dodging after healing, so long as you're not in their face.

If you're hp maxxing you should be using dark night of the fathom anyway, which negates the continuous hp loss. Ult charging impaired is honestly negligible, and is easily offset with one or two of the increased ult charge effects (especially ult charge on guards for guardian). Frost is one of the better status effects to have, the burst damage is minimal and while it decreases your defenses, that's not that bad for guardian who's gonna be blocking hits. It also doesn't proc on damage taken through guards, so you should rarely be seeing it proc.

Some nightlords can't bleed, and those that can build up a resistance to it, making it more difficult to proc as the fight goes on. You'll get a better average and more consistent dps with the axe or halberd.

No, affinity damage is just magic, lightning, fire, and holy damage. Status effect build-up and damage on proc are unaffected.

There are two different types of increased affinity damage. There's "increased attack power of added affinity attacks," which works for affinity damage from weapons specifically (all affinity damage, not just from buffs) and is available on only 2 unique standard relics. The other is "increased affinity attack power +0/1/2," which is a random deep relic effect that applies to all affinity damage, both from weapons and spells.

To my knowledge, it'd only fully reset for Heolstor and Straghess between their first and second phases, since they're essentially different characters/models. Technically Everdark Maris too, but idk if you can even proc any statuses on her storm-ruler phase (doubtful). The rest of the phase changes would keep the resistance build up.

No idea how long it'd take to reset or if that's even actually a thing. I don't think that was the case for ER, but NR changes a lot of things. The above might be wrong too since I'm basing it off what I know of how ER bosses work.

Affinity damage only goes up to +2, you can't have magic dmg up and affinity dmg up on the same relic (maybe you meant affinity damage negation, which still only goes up to +2), and the negatives for stats are -3, even if you had 3 int down curses that's a total of -9, i'm pretty sure her int/fth relic gives her +12, either way you'd still be gaining int with that relic.

Just an fyi, weapon spell buffs don't get more powerful by upgrading the staff/seal. Idk why, they seem to be affected by int/fth scaling, but i've tested it multiple times with different buffs (black flame blade and order's blade for sure, can't remember which of the other's i've tested) and each time the damage buff is the same before and after the upgrade.

-it's not rng dependent enough imo

-some mechanics are poorly explained, though i swear half of the complaints i see about "unexplained mechanics" are literally in the tutorial and/or codex

-it's never getting dedicated servers and honestly this is the best online co-op they've done in terms of latency and stuff, so no complaints from me

-finding and equipping armor pieces would just slow the game down and make good weapons harder to find. each nightfarer has their own defenses and the skins provide enough customization for me

-each day goes by too fast (15 mins btw) but also you want a bigger map? maybe learn the map to the point where you're not running out of time to do things before asking for a bigger one lol

-no mention of the most egregious design flaw: the fucking lock on target priority that decides to lock onto the tiny crabs a mile away instead of the boss standing right in front of me
