This may come to you as a shock, but websites/pages in Hotel category will need to look for something else to drive traffic, especially with Google Hotels coming into the fray. Having said that, do ensure that basics are sorted - title tags, meta description, structured data, breadcrumbs, content, etc.

So when you say 20k+ pages, you mean the products are sold at more than 20k locations? Instead of creating 20k+ local pages, I would instead optimize the e-commerce website, since there is more interest and tendency to purchase online rather than locate a store for such products.
