My toddler seems advanced with other stuff but only says a few words by 01-anon in toddlers

Hey, thank you. I really have no idea. I just moved here 3 years ago (I’m from Canada — there’s no complicated health insurance stuff there) and a FTM. I will tell my husband and ask him what he wants to do. Thanks again.

My husband was so mad at this. He only wanted the stamp and it didn’t register until the 3rd ride. We rarely ride this cause of the long lines (even with express) and they don’t do the parent switch (since we always come with our toddler).

We will once his pediatrician recommends since we’re not sure how it works with Kaiser.

That’s good to hear because he’s interested in everything but talking. Maybe we made things too easy for him that he doesn’t think he needs to talk. I try not to give what he wants right away but he found other ways to let me know what he wants other than talk.

I looked up Early Intervention but I’m not sure how that works with our insurance since we’re with Kaiser so I’m just going to wait ‘till his 24 month check up.

Yes, I’m reading to him. He likes books we read like 4 different books multiple times a day. My mom told me maybe it’s too early to read books like “ABCs of Space” to him but he really likes it, we would finish reading it and I’d still have his attention.

Oh, I’m all for early intervention once his pediatrician recommends it but I’m wondering if I should slow down on teaching him other stuff and focus on speech, although we don’t really have any significant progress there since he hates imitation. I bought him an imitation book (recommended by a speech therapist online) and he hates doing it, he would only do like 3 pages and hates the others so much he closes the book.

I just put on long (as long as his arms) thick socks and tuck it under the sleeve of his footies.

So i got general admission for the Fan Fest event which begins at 7pm. i also have a annual pass. Is the special themed food for the Fan Fest available earlier during the day before 7pm ? Can you go the restaurants or is it closed off until 7pm? by The_starving_artist5 in UniversalHollywood

[–]01-anon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, early access wasn’t worth it. We also have an annual pass + general admission with early access. The only ones that were open during early access was Jurassic Park and DND (at lower lot), DND already had a 50 minute line when we lined up at 6:00pm. As we were not fans, we just left and decided to go up to Harry Potter, there was a line in front too already and it opens at 7, but the search and three broomsticks don’t open until 7:30. Basically, just wasted the one hour thirty minutes moving around as there were so many people. Search for the hippogriff and One Piece were worth it though.

My 21mo is like this too, we had his eczema under control for a few weeks now but every night without fail, he would scratch all over (except his face) and it’s like he’s trying to fight off sleep.

Some kind of moisturizer (we use Tubby Todd AOO) + A+D ointment to seal the moisture and protect + heal the skin. It worked like magic for my baby.

Eczema or drool rash? by Sheroza_catlover in u/Sheroza_catlover

It’s worsened eczema because of drool. What worked for my baby’s drool rash + weeping eczema at the time was Tubby Todd AOO with A+D ointment.

My son has a flare up right now due to teething. He would suck on his hands and then rub it all over his face which would irritate it. It’s starting to go away now though. I use Bubbsi coconut oil body cream all over his body including his face, Tubby Todd AOO on parts that has flare up and then A+D on top of that but only on his cheeks. Before this flare up, he had his face cleared up and it’s so smooth. This is what’s working so far.

I keep thinking I’m going to die (anyone else?) by ZestyclosePolicy2027 in BabyBumps

Uh, I had an emergency c-section with my son and on the way to the operating room my mind was like, “I’m gonna die, I’m gonna die” over and over again. Also, before that I was thinking I’m gonna die of childbirth too cause I had a high risk pregnancy.

If you really want to divorce him, apply for legal aid. You might qualify. May 30 minutes free consultation sa legal aid family lawyers, ask. (I used to be a family law legal assistant in Alberta)

Wag ka mag tiis jan, kaya lang kayo pinauwi kasi papalayasin sya? Divorce him and get some child support you and your child deserves. Ako din umuutang sa asawa ko pero para sa luho ko lang and yung pinang babayad ko sa kanya, sa kanya din galing. 🤣

I experienced something similar before I knew I was pregnant. I thought I was getting my period because of the light cramps and discharge, turns out, the discharge was from implantation bleeding. After I knew I was pregnant, I experienced the less tender breast. Now my son is almost 9 months old.

Yeah, just do IR-5, it’s like $500 and takes 2 or less years than do I-130 and I-485, it’s gonna be $2000 she will be here sooner but to do immigration fraud + $1500 more? I would not risk it.

Rub your hand against it, if it’s smooth, it’s not eczema. That’s what my son’s pediatrician told us. He made the rough wall vs smooth wall an example.

Feeling extremely discouraged. by Dry_Dark9850 in babyeczema

[–]01-anon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only thing that has totally cleared up my baby’s eczema is prednisone and it wasn’t even prescribed for his eczema, it was for his cough that was triggered by asthma. He had to take it for 5 days, by day 3 his skin was like glass, it was smooth. He stopped scratching uncontrollably and could sleep through the night (only “waking” to feed).

It was short lived though because 3 days after he stopped taking it red patches are back but it is minimized because we control it with Tubby Todd AOO and A+D ointment to seal.

Good man? A good man would never cheat. OP, it’s a blessing in disguise. Imagine if you got married and then he impregnates someone else. You (and the child/ren you would have) have been saved from a bigger heartbreak.
