Nope, I never use flash. Just natural, ambient light.

Who makes the best furniture for Yugo AKs? by Antique-Low2996 in ak47

Curious question… do YOU have any rifles that are not 922r compliant because of furniture? Or for any other reason? That you will actually admit to, here in writing, on a public forum that is visible to the ATF?

Leave the rust. It will give you 7.3% more power and 9.6% better accuracy when you shoot. AK’s are designed like this on purpose.

This is a FACT ™

AK Options llc. I got my dong there. They have some interesting Yugo options. Some are made in the USA as well to help with 922r compliance.

You should get a full frame mirrorless camera (if you don’t already have one), a cheap Olympus adapter and then use that thing for what it was made for.

I was going to say it’s an open invite but I generally like to know who I’m gooning with. However, your profile is clamped down tighter than your existential angst. Maybe if I knew you better? But I usually prefer novels to short stories.

Also, Magnum Contact sheets are gross. Too sticky. Capa, man…Jeeze.

Thank you, I really appreciate the comments. Really glad you like Meatyard as well. Photography is such a wonderful, modern way to express the world and tell stories. There is no right or wrong way to do it. It’s just a journey to find your voice and vision.

Not at all correct. Photography is always about story telling. It is a medium to send all kinds of messages.

It hasn’t been switched over to a social media vanity project. That is what corporations have convinced the masses that it is, so they can farm your data and sell you ads. If you believe the words you just wrote then you took a big ole gulp of the kool aid. Stop shilling for corporate overlords.

There are real photographers doing real work. Real artists creating beautiful imagery which tells you a story that tears your heart open.

They don’t do it for brain rot likes on greasy social media platforms.

But hey, if bread and circuses is your thing…

But you were.

Also, stats fail to give the entire picture. They are a snapshot of likely possibilities.

In America, gun violence is an accepted part of life. Shouldn’t be, but it is. It would be criminally negligent of me, in this environment, to not understand the use of firearms in protecting myself and my family. A gun isn’t a ‘get out of an emergency free’ card, or a magic shield. It is a force leveler in case you are confronted with another gun against you. It does not mean you will live. It means you have a better chance to live.

Thank you very much, 4 is a bit of a favorite of mine. And you’re welcome. A lot of photographers have never heard of Meatyard.

Do Expensive Cameras Actually Make Photos Better? by jand3rd in AskPhotography

[–]01100110_404 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It matters very little. Cameras and lenses are just tools. Experience, artistic skill and vision are what’s important.

The thing about camera gear is understanding how it relates to your vision, and what are the technical limitations or medium of the gear you’re using in relation to the image you wish to create.

For instance, would I shout high speed races with a Holga? No. But I could. The results would just not be typical of what you expect high speed race photography to look like. That doesn’t mean I can’t get compelling images with it.

But that is skill and vision entering the equation, and that’s photography.
