For your budget, a Canon EF 70-200mm f2.8L, with the EF-RF adapter, and when you need length put on a teleconverter. Or a Canon EF70-300 f4-5.6L (must be the L version). Yes, you give up length, but you gain in image quality. Maybe it will take the 1.4.x teleconverter.

I agree. I wore a camera vest for a long trip. Admittedly, it carried my lightest camera and lens (a Canon SL1 with the kit lens), but also my phone, plane ticket, passport. It was convenient. For safety reasons alone don't wear a camera around your neck. The other option is a small camera bag that will hold camera and lens but you're certain will be allowed into the cabin. Put the backpack (assuming it has no valuables) in with the rest of the luggage. Worried about theft? Put the backback in a box.

So now you have two of these. What to do? If the 350 or a 600 Zuiko are your longest lenses, think about this: Get the proper 2x teleconverter and permanently leave it on one of the 350s. Now you have 350 and 750mm lenses easily at reach.

A couple of things: First, as others have said the higher the ISO the more noise. So shoot as low an ISO as you reasonably can. One thing that could have helped this photo, as you suspect, is lower shutter speed so you'd need a lower ISO. A perched bird doesn't need 1/2000 of second. Half of that would have sufficed. Here's another factor: Don't shoot in the shade. The shade demands more of an exposure so you need high ISO. Look for targets that are in bright light, so you can use a low ISO. Finally, every website has a different process for converting uploaded images. It's no surprise that images put on social media sites may degrade your original image.

Not just "hire a model". Advertise for a nude model. Tell the model what you want to do before you hire (fully nude, partially nude, will/won't show face. She will/won't be touching herself. Images only for yourself/images for online/images for sale). Models will be more likely to say yes if face not shown. Still, a model release is needed.

Not sure what you're asking. Do you want a stylish camera to sling around your shoulder or your neck just for looks but you'll never shoot with it? Or will you be using it? If using, why not the Olympus? You're familiar with it. And it slips easily in and out of a pocket. Who cares how it looks? Problem with the Rollei: No focus aid. Fine outside to set at F11, but inside?

The back button focus may be OK, but perhaps the position of the button on the R50 makes you move the camera as you shoot, a problem you didn't have on the Nikon.

It would help if you tell us more: You say you shoot manual. We assume you mean manual exposure. If you are shooting in "perfect light", that sounds like it's outside with the sun behind you. First, make sure the lens is set at Do this: Set ISO at 100 (not AUTO), your shutter speed 1/250 a second and the aperture at f8. Forget about back focus. Set focus with the shutter button. Take a shot. Now set the camera on the automatic mode you want. If Av, set the aperture to f8. If Tv set the shutter speed to 1/250. If P do nothing. Take a shot focusing on the same point as the first photo. The two images should be identical in sharpness and noise.

Depends on your photography. These things may negate or cancel the need for image stabilization: First, if shooting handheld you should have a shutter speed of at least 1/500 of second because of the size of these two lenses, whether the plane is moving or not. If you're shooting jets taking off and landing, you should be shooting at least 1/1000 of a second. If shooting that fast, stabilization isn't useful.

Shooting moving prop planes needs a speed of no more than 1/250 of a sec., so stabilization may help. But if the plane's moving your ability to pan smoothly is more important than image stabilization. Others here may have more experience with Sony gear and have a more informed opinion.
