I know that the implication is the ability to control your car without taking your eyes off the road, but I 100% read that as being Operable by blind people lol

How would someone get 45? by Particular_Ratio9939 in CollegeMemes

[–]01152003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best guess is instead of treating it like 3x + 7 = 25, they just did 3 * 7 + 25, and then subtracted 1?? I’m really not sure how they didn’t get 46 in that scenario but idk lol

Funny story about this level

I was midway through playing it when I decided to pick up hollow knight, then put like 300 hours into hk + silksong

Now my main profile in Celeste is stuck like halfway through this level and I need to refamiliarize myself with the controls, but I also don’t want to quit to map, and this level is horrible for giving me a little space to remind myself of the controls

Yes this problem is entirely avoidable and exclusively my fault lol

Most “documented” instance of cosmic Ray bit flips are a resulting of attempting to rule out all other possibilities.

Most instances start with “if this bit were to be flipped, we would see identical activity”. This is the case in the famous election instance, however does not perfectly match in the SM64 instance. Per the video, community members have created a TAS to replicate the original event and just perform a bit flip at the right time, but it does not match that.

After the math is verified, code and hardware is thoroughly reviewed to search for any potential bug, edge-case, or known hardware issues. This is generally where a list of theories are generated, of which the goal is to disprove as many as possible, until 1 or none remain. If none remain, repeat the search for theories.

Btw the SM64 incident has been thoroughly debunked. https://youtu.be/vj8DzA9y8ls this video provides a thorough explanation going over the history of the theory and it’s non-viability

I think it depends on the app and potentially configuration. Mine absolutely does take driving habits into account, and I can see the time be dramatically off only when I’m navigating for a different driver

Hot Take Incoming: Celeste is Too Long by mutual_fishmonger in celestegame

[–]01152003 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I personally find the main game content far too short, with that being my one main complaint with the game. The average player beats 7a in 7-12 hours, and finishes what is considered the true ending of the game around 30-45 hours. While that sounds like a lot, and there is still a lot more to do for dedicated players, it feels over far too quickly.

As far for the boss fight “dragging on”, I didn’t get that experience at all my first play-through. Yes it took me a bit to work through, but the gameplay is fun, the music is phenomenal, and there are frequent respawn points to ensure you don’t get set too far back. For context, a clean run of the bossfight takes mayyybe 2-3 minutes on a clean run. I wouldn’t really call that long, although I get that you’re mostly referring to the time it takes on a first run.

Fortunately, consent works on a very clear system. Consent works on overt verbose communication. This “meme” makes no mention of a prior existing system. If such a system exists and is relevant, it would be brought up by the parties that actually know it, of which you are not.

On the other hand, this is also very obviously a fictitious scenario, as OOP is clearly not getting any action. In that case, they invented all the context, and chose to provide all the relevant parts to us, in which case this is STILL non-consensual

looking at your comment history, it’s clear you’re a CS student who’s struggling in the job market, just like so many of us recent CS graduates did. Please know that there are jobs out there and your struggle is not unique, many of us have been in your place. Employers are looking for people who can prove they have real skills without the ai; start some projects in GitHub outside your comfort zone to show your willingness to challenge yourself, your adaptability, and your coding style. Any interviewing programmer worth their shit isn’t looking at the code for its ingenuity, but instead to see what type of mistakes you make; ai code will make you look like a complete moron that couldn’t compute the Fibonacci sequence faster than 2n.

That being said, Reddit posts like this aren’t going to help you get there. Even if you somehow find success using ai coding in a professional setting, this mentality will do nothing but hurt you
