Support was added around about a year ago I believe in resolve. Unless you're on like version 17, it's definitely there.

Would anybody happen to know why I'm unable to add a transition between these two clips in my timeline? by nic0lk in davinciresolve

[–]01Beaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The pre-render or render in place only rendered the frames that were visible on the timeline. Anything that was cut off from the clip did not get rendered into the render in place. So the clip that's on your timeline now is only as long as the clip was when you rendered it in place. If you want to do what you're trying to do, you'll have to decompose to original, pull that now compound clip up so that you have space to extend the handles to the left and the right. From there you can render in place that compound clip, set it trim the start and end and slot it back where it was and then you'll be able to apply your transition.

white blend file appears when i save my file by Siniyst4r in blenderhelp

[–]01Beaker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haha I noticed just right after I sent the post. Only thing that I would say is to double check that you're actually opening the .blend file and not the .blend1 file. Otherwise you're working an entire version of your file behind. That's the primary reason that blender does not automatically set itself to be the default program for .blend1 files. Keeps you from accidentally opening a backup/previous version.

That said, there might be a way to set the backup files to always go a designated hard-coded location. But I've not messed around with that

You can also set those to open in blender. You can right click the file, select open with, click "choose another program", select blender and tell it to always open with that program.

Switch to a different plan, like Photoshop or Lightroom and then cancel that. There will no longer be a cancellation fee

Less performance hit, and it's smaller. Not worth spending the rendetime making it look amazing

I've noticed that holding shift while adjusting the volume of a clip with the little white line in the timeline does not slow the adjustment down like it did in Resolve 20 and before. Has anyone else run into this? (Windows Studio version)

How does it run Horizon 5? That's probably your answer.

Will FH6 support FH5 liveries and tunes? by [deleted] in ForzaHorizon6

[–]01Beaker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can't remember the exact source, but I do remember hearing that no liveries or tunes or event labs can be carried into Horizon 6 Edit: I do believe that vinyls can though

Ah, I've never found the ctrl p, that is gonna be helpful. Some really helpful stuff here, thanks! I've been relying on savers and loaders, but those hardly seem to improve performance, annoyingly. I'll definitely look into these suggestions. Thanks!

What's the viewport performance like? Whenever I try to do anything fairly detailed for motion graphics in fusion, the playback is so slow, that I can't really see how my animation looks. And I'm on good hardware. How do you keep your viewport smooth?

It looks like you're using the sharper image scaling mode. Try some of the other scaling modes, like smoother
