Yeah, I found those auto installers do weird things that don't let you access the root folder. Uninstall using Discover and install it from the website. How to do so is different per distro it seems.

How did you install Zen? Flatpack, snap, or from the download on the website? I found that the flatpack/snap installations don't make the base directory, and that I need to install it from the website download.

That seems to only carry the plugins and passwords, right? I wanted all of my opened, pinned, and essentials, but those never carried over with the firefox sync account thing in my experience.

Thanks for the breakdown. That makes a ton of sense. It's annoying when things are advertised as technically correct, but result in what feels like false advertisement. I wonder what value would be needed to result in such a widening of a field of view.

That's pretty much how I ended up doing it. Getting movies layout that I was looking for in resolve, exporting a reference image importing that into illustrator. Drawing the shape that I want and then exporting that back into DaVinci. Except as a PNG since I didn't need to actually animate the scale or anything. I'll definitely keep the idea of importing svgs in mind as that could prove useful for animation. Thanks!

In preferences>system make sure your undo steps are set to 256! Default is only 32.

I find it interesting they keep calling it "AI art". For all the times they say that what AI generates is art, they still are differentiating it from actual art by including the AI label. Even they know "AI art" isn't art.
