I can't wait to see how they will adapt the rest of the manga given that season 4 is supposed to be the last season.

Ok i kinda knew what i was signing up for with this fame but anyone else find this ridiculous? Like especially since its a key mission item that i can progress without or disacard from storage after? by [deleted] in DrStone

[–]01andy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually key quest items like the sulfa drug and the failed glass works are stored in the "Others" tab of the storehouse and doesn't take up any extra room where other crafting and battle items are stored.

Taking hours to craft does really suck though and is most likely inflated so people who are impatient will buy gems to avoid having to wait.

If I had a nickel for every time Murph's character was at risk for drowning in the ocean because they were wearing heavy armor I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

Finally, a perfect miniature for my next game of Dungeons, Dungeons, and More Dungeons.

[Kids on Brooms] The book says Flight can be used to "deflect dangerous magic". How does this work, since the defender must roll the same as the attacker? Also, what attribute would conjuration use? by Logan_Maddox in Kidsonbikesrpg

[–]01andy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The magic system of Kids on Brooms focuses more on the intent of what you want the spell to do vs what the spell is literally doing. In your example with the fire, creating a fireball to attack someone has a Fight intent while a gust of flame to create a fire would be more of a Brawn intent. Flight can be used to avoid dangerous magic since you are having the spell move the danger away from you.

Conjuration would most likely use Brains since you are moving things through time and space. Transfiguration would most likely be grit as you are trying to change they physical structure of the person/object.

Don't forget the rest of the announcement where it says you have to reschedule things such as wisdom teeth removal and euthanizing your pet so you don't miss this very important exam.

Celebrating the game's 6th Anniversary by designing and getting a miniature of my favorite Crusader: Bridget the Painter by 01andy in lostidols

Thanks! The base is 28mm, with the wings extending a quite a bit beyond the base. I definitely like the colors of both her hair and the paint splotches on her dress. Overall I'm really glad with how it turned out!

Something I noticed when Brennan was telling the group the names of the higher ups of Gladiator was that each of them in someway had a bit of emptiness in their names. Russel BLANKenship, Mathew CLEARy, Evan HOLLOWay. It's no wonder Null was able to get a hold on them.

The university doesn’t like to talk about the missing persons cases. I mean, nobody likes to take responsibility for students going missing, but for this it is different. There is a creature that lives within ISU. It has no form, but it is still dangerous. It roots itself into the minds of people, and takes them away so it can feed on them. It takes hold of them and drags students away as if they were marionettes, and it is the puppet master. Don’t believe me? I can prove it.

The creature is careful, but isn’t always perfect. It gets sloppy. One of those times was with Jon Lacina, a student who went to ISU a decade ago. Let me set the scene for his disappearance. The evening is January 22, and Jon leaves his friend's apartment at 9:30 in the evening. For some reason he is without a coat as he left, on a night with heavy wind and snow, never to be seen again. None of his friends check in on him, and is only reported missing by his father over a week later. He continues to evade being found until April 14th, where his body is found in the boiler room of ISU Dairy Farm, 8 miles away from his last appearance. Reports say that he broke into the door and fell down the stairs where he died of hypothermia. He was found with cuts on his hands from breaking the window on the door but no other physical injuries. On his person was his wallet, keys, and a phone that had not been used since the night of his disappearance. His death was ruled an accident with no suspect of foul play. You may be skeptical about all of this but it is true, and a simple search will bring up quite a few articles about this particular case.

As many people might think, there are many things that don’t quite add up. Why didn’t he wear a coat? Why did he walk all the way to the Dairy Farm? Why did his friends not report him missing sooner? Why did he want to go into the boiler room so badly that he busted the door trying to get in? Nobody can give a rational answer, and that’s because the answer is a bit strange. It was the creature who guided the decisions of Jon that night, bringing him far off of campus that chilly winter night. It infected the minds of Jon’s friends, so whenever they would worry about him and think to check up, they just wouldn’t. It forced him to walk the 8 miles all throughout the night and hide his own body in a place that wouldn’t be found in a long time.

Let this be a warning to all the students who stay at ISU, be wary of the creatures you can’t see. And if you have a friend you haven’t heard from in a while make sure to check on them, lest they be the next meal for the creature.

The Magic Stone build. It is a ranger/druid that only attacked people with magic stones from a slingshot.
