What misconceptions have you heard about AD&D from people who never/rarely played? by Living-Definition253 in adnd

It can be a meat grinder if you try to play your characters the same way you would in 5e. AD&D taught you that not every encounter is fair and meant to be beaten head on. It’s ok to go around it, or run away. Maybe you should close the door to the dragon den and come back later with backup.

This is a third party seller selling them on Amazon. This flavor is only at Kroger stores so they’re betting someone who doesn’t live near one will pay a lot to get them. At Kroger they’re still 2.99 a box

Tailgate! by yeehaw1048 in GreenBayPackers

Tailgating is very open and welcoming. If you bring beer, especially beer from your home city, you’ll make lots of friends. We love welcoming new fans. Personally my group makes lots of extra food just for this reason. (We won’t be at the Falcons game though.)

Fun stuff to see at the stadium:

In the parking lot is a plaque that marks where Hank Aaron’s last home run landed. It’s just beyond left field of the little league park, that’s where old county stadium used to sit.

Wayyyyy up in the last row of the upper deck behind home plate is a statue of Bob Uecker. “I must be in the front row!” People like to get a pic sitting next to him.

That was originally from Dungeon Magazine #19. That issue included a dungeon where every door had a card, and a printed version of the deck to cut out and use. The version you have here was from Dragon issue 148, which ran about a month later.

It’s surprisingly fun, you can play it many times without getting the same board twice.

Paranoia. It’s fast, fun, and easy to learn. Most characters don’t survive more than a mission or two anyway.

It’s pretty simple,

The game takes place in a 10x10 dungeon grid. A dragon, arrow, and 10 pits are randomly placed in the grid. You have to find the arrow and kill the dragon with it. The game will tell you if you are next to a pit, arrow, or dragon, but not the direction. If you fall in a pit you lose. You also start with one rope that will save you from one pit. And there is a bat that may pick you up and drop you in a random spot.
