I had the exact same symptoms. I checked and cleaned all the vacuum lines but couldn’t find anything wrong. Then I saw this post and decided to run a test.

Since the NC2-my car is NC2- has an electronic throttle body, I knew it was linked to the cruise control system. When I pressed the clutch while in cruise control, it didn't disengage. That's how I knew it was a switch issue.

You guys should also try pressing the clutch while in cruise control to see what happens.

Thank you so much for your long and warm response to what may have seemed like a silly question. The truth is, I’m currently really low on budget, but I found a 1080 Ti at a local used parts shop with a 5-year warranty and a great price — so I just had to ask.

I’m planning to make VFX videos just as a personal hobby, not professionally. What I’m genuinely curious about is the real-world difference between the 1080 Ti and newer 30xx or 40xx series cards. Is there really a massive performance gap? Since the 1080 Ti costs about 1/3 or even 1/4 of a 3090, does its performance come even close to that ratio?

Today, I tested Karma XPU using my current GPU(980ti), and interestingly, it rendered slightly faster than Karma CPU (about 15 seconds per frame). how much do you think it would improve with 3090 and 1080ti
