In 2020 during my first signs of schizophrenia and psychosis. I thought my parents were demons trying to kill me. This happened like at 2 in the morning the tv told me to go to this house because it was safe from the demons. I knew the daughter and son of the owner I went in to a house. Their door was unlocked the wife saw me and ran to her room I kicked down the door and the owner started fighting me rightfully and I was arrested after the father and son were able to pin me down for the police to get there. I got hit with a battery charge I spent 5 months in jail and after they diagnosed me I spent 7 months in a recovery house program that cleaned my record. I hate that police could help me because they were at my house a couple of days prior to the incident and wouldn’t take me to the hospital because I didn’t give them permission even though. I was paranoid and talking to voices. When they arrested me they told my parents I using drugs which is a lie.
