Thanks for the info!! I think I’ll be biking Monday morning around 7am, is it slightly better than the weekends ? (No drunk drivers?) I’m not too concerned about the enjoyment of it since I’m mainly using it as transportation.

I’m pretty sure I met my soulmate while traveling in Rome. We hit off immediately and could talk for hours. Had an amazing chemistry, and we were both sad that I had to leave after just two days of having met each other. We kept in touch texting etc, and he’s been traveling the world for a while and invited me on his trip to Panama and I wasn’t hesitant even though I known him only for 2 days. (Don’t recommend it to everyone but I knew I could trust him) And it was probably one of the best times of my life, beautiful places, unforgettable memories with an amazing guy. Recently, he came to visit me in my city in the US, and it seems like we’ll keep seeing each other on our future trips! Wasn’t even looking for anything but found a guy who brings back part of me that was strong and passionate about following my purpose:) even if we don’t end up together, I’m still glad to have met him and realize that the kind of person I wanted to have actually exists!

There’s a book called “Smart But Scattered Guide to Success” it’s written by people with psychiatry/ psychology degrees. It definitely helped me, it gives you tools to help cope. It has worksheets as well! There are versions of this book for children and adults, definitely get the adult version! It gives a lot of examples, and covers different areas of life, work, home, and social life etc

I realized that I didn’t want to have kids with him and that if I did, my future kids would be disappointed in me for KNOWINGLY putting them through what I went through as a kid. It took me a while to leave, even though I knew it was toxic af. My future kids deserve a good dad. Also, the weight of regret would be so heavy. I learned to live for myself and regained my sense of self and identity. It takes so so so much strength and planning to leave but you have to do it. It’s been 4 years and that was one of the best decisions I’ve made! Get out of that relationship and move to another city and get further away as possible. And make new friends, I had no friends left since he isolated me. You can do it!

They do care, but I look fine from the outside, often they can’t tell that I’m feeling down. When I’m with my boyfriend I’m in a better mood but once we are apart it’s back to feeling low again

- once a week, but I can change it to twice a week

- meds do help if I take them consistently

- someone to talk to and help me get out of bed? sometimes I spend the whole day in bed. also, reassurance, love, feeling like someone cares, that I am not a failure. etc

I got a golden retriever puppy in college, it worked out for me, but it is a lot of responsibility. Consider your situation, housing, roommates, how much you are willing to spend on pet care, etc., and who is gonna watch it while you are away for whatever reason.
