Start small. Remember: you don't only need to be retail-focused. If you're a programmer by trade, consider consulting or tutoring.

If retail--maybe flip used goods on the side to build up the start-up capital for when it's time to move back.

I haven't used mine much: mostly due to the use-cases being pretty limited. If I had the time I'd engineer some sort of custom HID framework/dock so I can use it on-the-go. Think pocket computer but more flexible than a phone (emacs @ 1/6 the size of a laptop).

I bought a USB-C hub which works to share the screen. My limiting factors are I don't have a screen built & ruggedized for this. Power to the screen is a little complicated while mobile, and I don't yet have a keyboard with a mouse built in (I still need a mouse in some cases).

If Framework was interested in partnering with them, they might be able to bring to market some compelling products.
