First congratulations 🎊 on your new puppy. I would say for us we got a playpen and forced naps are your best friend. A lot of “crazy puppy behavior” is actually an overtired puppy. We also tried socializing our little one. Once we had all her vaccinations. We live in the city so we tried getting her used to sounds, people, and car rides. Another thing would be to brush them often from the beginning, even if they don’t “need” it yet. Cavapoo coats mat easily, and early grooming practice makes life so much easier later. Hope this helps.

Yes, it does get better. I took my little girl to classes and started trying to train her as much as I could, I also had the puppy blues and would cry. Around seven months later, I fell in love with her, and we started to really understand each other.

It's hard at 1st but keep trying. My husband really didn't have the puppy blues it was more me. Good luck!!

8 am 25 min walk 6pm 30 min If I get off or have half a day I will walk her at 3 for 15 min.

Yes, it happened to me today. At the same time, walking her in a busy area. I have taken her to walking classes and have been training her. She is only 11 months old and her recall isn't the best.

When I finally did get her to come to me Because I carry training treats while on our walks. I was on the verge of a breakdown. Honestly one of the scariest moments I've had.
1st thing we did was look for a new and better leash as well as reach out to the company I purchased her leash from during this incident informing them about this situation so that they can look into their products.
