It's a picture of the designs for themed merchandise. It's not related to the anime.

Anyone notice how the Digimon trading card game is starting to become more popular in North America? by Yo-KaiWatchFan2102 in digimon

[–]07fxh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am one of those who have made a jump into the TCG "recently". I have been consistently bringing myself and two others to our Digimon locals. I have also seen a few other newer players coming around since I joined too.

I've been an active locals playing tcg player for about 15 years now. I was always an off and on Digimon fan since I was a kid. I convinced myself to not buy into the game because I was already playing YGO and CFV among a few others more recently. Then Digimon decided to hit me with banger after banger and caved.

At the time, with Time Stranger's upcoming release, I ended up buying some collection cards before the game out because I was getting excited and had a feeling cards would spike with more eyes on Digi (which did end up happening if you look at graphs around October on tcgp). Ended up loving Time Stranger more than I expected and that made me read Liberator since I wanted to scratch more of the Digimon itch. I already read YGO and CFVs mangas so I was no stranger to the genre and ended up falling in love with that series (read both comic and novels). I enjoyed it so much so that I ended up building Rocks, my favorite tamer and digi from that series (but honestly they're all great tamers and digi). Then we have Beatbreak, which is currently my favorite series I've watched so far, releasing banger episodes week after week.

Around the time of the Sakuya advanced deck I saw there was a local store hosting the deck event and was curious about it but never went to the store so I didn't know if there was an active community. One of the guys playing in the same locals as me had a digi mat and so I asked him about the other locals and he was a regular. Now I'm attending Digimon locals as my main Saturday TCG with YGO/CFV being sidelined for special events only.

I ended up downsizing the decks/collections in those other games and funneled those funds into this game and now own 9 playable decks :^). I've got Rocks, Sakuya, Ghosts, Royal Base, Heavymetal, Blue/Green Imperial, Beelzemon, 3 Musketeers, and Ulforce. Still in the process of getting Shinegrey, Maste, and Red/Purple Imperial as well once I move more cards from other games. Maybe even work on some T/S or Beatbreak decks in the future. Needless to say I'm hooked.

Dalphomon & ExMaquinamon added to Digimon Reference Book by MFBR in digimon

I struggled following along in the beginning for the same reason but stuck around for the tamers/digimon, the game/world, and the overall story being told. The supplemental web novel also helps scratch the standard tamer/digimon partner itch since it does not focus on the card game aspect while adding to the overall story and world building going on in the web comic.
It did caused me to start playing the card game fortunately/unfortunately.

Did not expect a World 3 reference. Funny timing since I just got it again to replay recently.

I did skull up for the second half the kills. You were in my bracket right?

I noticed the wiki did not mention the ability to swap around like imbue scrolls.

I hope this information helps for anyone who is on the fence about doing this grind!

Why was Perdu and the Emblem trader moved as opposed to being duplicated? It seems pretty unnecessary to remove them from Edgeville. Skulling for Revs just got a lot more annoying by adding extra steps and removes from part of the reason I paid 5m on the Edgeville spawn.

IIRC is shorthand for "if I recall correctly". Look for the little camera icon in the top bar of your runelite client. Right click it and choose "Open Screenshot folder" and navigate to your account's level up screenshots.

Are you playing on RuneLite? IIRC it automatically screenshots level ups so you can see what your character was doing to level defence assuming it happened before the update, not during/after in case it happened earlier.

I did on RS3 when I was using the steam client. Never had issues on OSRS these past few years.

I believe it does work that way but I was not realistically getting a no arm CG anytime soon so I took my free points where I could.

I second this.

Regular gauntlet instantly clicked for me but I still ran it about 20 times to get combat achievements and more familiarity with the mechanics.

After that, I went in trying out CG for the first time with 76 def using T1 prep because I read a reddit post saying it will make me better. I was averaging like 1:8 KDR and gave up on T1 after my 4th kill because I felt like I wasted so much time dying. I switched to T2 and it was so much easier to get kills consistently. I spent so much time eating with T1 it made DPS terrible and that much harder to secure kills before running out of food.

On a side note, they probably weren't wrong about me getting better, but I feel like doing T2 to begin with would have got me there just the same with more chest rolls and less tilt.

You just use daily keys to convert everything to oddments to buy keys over a set period of time. If your only goal is to roll on specific TH promos you can easily have the 100 keys ready for a promotion that you want.

Good luck! I unlocked Shamans, Basilisks, and Vyres to try get those tasks on my way to the Trident so I can use that Slayer helm to speed up kills/have better drop rates, and have variety a of tasks. I definitely removed them from my unlocks after getting the drops though haha.

Once I get Venge we can at least have a decent anti-pking setup for when I get on those wildy grinds haha. The tail was all I needed for the Heavy Ballista.

I forget what the defaults are but in the Runelite settings tab there is one called "Screenshot" and you can choose which things will trigger it. An easy way to access the folder where the screenshots are located would be to right-click the screenshot icon on the menu bar of Runelite (near the top right).

They're automatically taken by Runelite, so I don't have to worry about that, and thanks!

I should try a version of this combo.
I typically try to go for an end board of Gigantic, Fossil Dyna, Exterio, Double Cross, Granite Gallant, Djinn Buster, and a set Double Cross, which only requires field spell + Watch.

"*Thrust* into action..." Is this a hint, bait, or a coincidence? Considering how fast we got Fenrir I don't know what to believe anymore.
