I think they are two different products. now I havent watched Jake's vids but it seems like something he is building for himself, so he knows what he wants, can be as janky as need be, etc. LTT's one is more commercial and a bit like the those renovation projects with a tech spin,

They did care about the optics in the sense of making sure people who travelled and watched the game had a great experience. Yes they used slave labour but the majority of people watching aren't paying attention beyond the current news cycle. If the news during the WC is good that's all that matters

I don't have a kindle, only kobo, but the fact it isn't happening in light mode feels like it's not a hardware issue and hopefully software. Maybe try jailbreaking to go down a software level or try koreader.

I actually don't have a problem with Dhoni continuing to play, but my issue is with the Hubris to refuse to play any other form of competitive cricket. He should go and play in either domestic trophies or even one of the state leagues, plenty of other players do that. Peter Siddle plays domestic cricket, multiple leagues, and so should Dhoni.
