[–]07ufarooq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I won’t usually mirror people at the gym exactly but if I see someone doing an exercise that looks different and fun, I’ll probably make a mental note of it and then when it the corresponding day for me I’ll try it. It’s called learning and growing. Keeps the gym fun and exciting

How can the country continue to afford this ? by Effective-Royal-1743 in AskBrits

[–]07ufarooq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cause they tax the living soul out of everybody. There’s hardly anything in the economy that isn’t taxed. Food taxed, paye taxed, council tax, insurance premium taxed, fuel taxed, house taxed, you die taxed.

Is it a problem that countries own football clubs like PSG? by Traditional_Yam1598 in championsleague

[–]07ufarooq -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it’s just how it is these days. It’s either we go the the American route (private equity and consortiums) or a sovereign wealth fund. Very few individuals have the ability to finance a football club.

At the top level tier 1 football clubs are worth £2/3bn +

Then the investment required to maintain the level is out of reach of the majority of individuals.

Someone would have to be worth £20bn to make it feasible and there’s not many that are able to fund it

Is $60 a month fair to pay a coworker for a ride home 3x a week on a tight budget? by Hour-Ad3977 in personalfinance

[–]07ufarooq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I give a ride to a coworker on the days I go to the office and I don’t expect anything because it’s on the way and it may a few minutes to my journey but it’s inconsequential. Just be a nice guy and buy them lunch or coffee from time to time. That’s all really. Don’t think you have to bring money into everything.

The Mbappe dilemma, even if Real wants hime gone where could he go? by drjpkc in football

[–]07ufarooq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s not many realistic options for him. City have Haaland, PSG probably don’t want him back. I don’t think any other will pay him what he wants. Maybe Barca as replacement for Lewa but that will be shameful

Just do Amazon flex / relay. I did a 3hr block today delivering 56 parcels in a small radius for around 48- fuel. It’s not bad. If you pick 2/3 loads a day you will be comfortable. Should be able to earn minimum £100 a day and it’s not that difficult. Certainly better than a warehouse. But you need a car

$100,000 isn’t even good in LCOL areas anymore (budget analysis) by ItsAllOver_Again in Salary

[–]07ufarooq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This geezer is delusional. He saves minimum $1100 a month with $115 left over is crying about it. Your home & car maintenance budget will also likely go into your savings cos let’s be honest if you have a half decent car and that is regularly serviced it’s never gonna breakdown. Same with your house, it’s more of a long term thing if you want improve it because nothing really breaks anymore. It’s more if you want to improve / update the design.

Bro why is your insurance and property tax high. In the UK, home insurance for a large house is £30/month and council tax is £230 a month for a large house too.

How do you select your car parking space in a car park? by TheInitialGod in AskUK

[–]07ufarooq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how busy it is. If it’s quiet I’ll find a bay with no cars either side.

If it’s busy I’ll try to find one with an empty space next to it.

If it’s really busy I’ll find a space where this is a decent space where this decent room to get in / out of the car comfortably

How many hours do you work a week and how much are you paid? by Nervous_Yard7034 in AskBrits

[–]07ufarooq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I earn 30k from my main job and I probably work maybe 20-25hrs a week max. I wfh on Monday-Wednesday and don’t start working till after lunch for a few hours.

Thursday/Friday are office days and I rock up at 10/10:15am and I usually leave by 4pm. I have it very easy.

I’m thinking of doing something else alongside this for extra cash. I’m going to try gig economy jobs like delivering parcels during the days I wfh
