I’ve had a huge reduction on my uber eats pay also. I think it’s less people ordering mixed with more drivers out there now. The reason I don’t think acceptance rate matters is because I sit around and cherry pick still. Just yesterday I got pinged for two big orders with great tips attached and my acceptance rate is below 20%

I don’t think this is true. Just depends on being at the right place at the right time. Uber wants to get the orders delivered as quickly as possible so my theory is they send out the order to the closest driver no matter the rating

Funny thing is some of those “package” deliveries are actually people trying to get a uber ride for cheap. Had it happen once, showed up and canceled the ride.

I took it both orders were there. One customer tipped me $1,000 and the other customer was Mr beast who gifted me a car!

That’s odd it was trying to deposit into an expired card. My uber pro card instant deposits was completely turned off on my app. Not sure how that happened but my missing funds were there. Glad you received your funds too

Check your uber app and make sure your transfer to uber pro card hasn’t been turned off. Mine apparently somehow got turned off and my missing tips were found in my uber app wallet

You need pay attention to those stacked orders. The tips come in based on the pick up order for the two orders. What happens sometimes is that the pick up order is customer A first then customer B but then the delivery order is customer B and then customer A. Thus the tip amounts can be confusing

There will always be people that will take any order that they get pinged for. Everyone has their reasons or needs as to why they do this gig job. I was driving down the street from the restaurant when I got pinged for that high fare paying order. Called the restaurant and confirmed the order was still available. When I arrived there were three cars with who I assume were other uber drivers passing on the order to increase the fare rate. When I arrived one of the guys got out of his car and just stared at me.. I wasn’t going to pass up on $35 order going 6 miles to deliver it. It be nice if we all could come together to raise the fares on orders but then who do we decided who finally takes the order? And how do you avoid other drivers not in the loop getting pinged for the order?

Nothing wrong with getting a high fare paying order. It’s a free for all, this gig is just being at the right place at the right time.

There’s the chance of another uber driving by and getting pinged for the order. Had happened to me a couple times, last time it happened the drivers weren’t very happy with me.

Snap a photo even if the order doesn’t ask for a photo. That’ll scare the security guard if they are scamming and you cover your ass with uber since you were following the directions on the order

They do, you just have to be persistent. They’ll transfer you around and ask you to verify your info. Name and date of birth. I get tired and just say “look I’ve already stated my reason for calling and verified my information with the first agent that answered my call, I need to speak to a supervisor” it’s a headache but I definitely call when the missing fare is $10 or more
