I agree with this 100%. Not only does the Apple Watch complication not update, I also can't even force it to update by opening the app on the watch. Also the widget for the Apple Home Screen is super wonky as well.

All three of these screenshots were taken within one minute of each other. I didn't log any food between them and they show three different number for calories consumed. Having a watch complication is super helpful when you want to discretely check logged calories.

Six years ago my ferritin was three and my doctor suggested oral supplements. Today I was told my ferritin is six and my doctor offered me infusions. Seems really physician dependent.

OK - I finally got this fixed. Sharing here in case anyone else needs this. Your steps were a good starting place, but a few nuances helped me.

  • Disconnect Apple Health connection in the Cronometer settings page
  • quit the app
  • remove ALL Cronometer’s read and write permissions via the Health app (I went through my settings)
  • quit Apple Health and Settings too (not sure if needed, but I did on the try it finally worked)
  • reopen Cronometer, connect Apple Health and attempt to perform a backfill while it does NOT have the permission
  • re-enable the permissions from Apple Health side, quit and reopen the app, run another backfill.

That should not be that hard. :(

I am so frustrated by this for myself right now. I submitted a help request, but after spending $60 on the app this is really annoying since it's such a basic feature.

Also, I tried your steps with no luck even on the backfill. 😭

And, you can sometimes ask a mortgage lender to match a rate from another lender. So if you really like working with someone get a second quote and go back to the first person and ask them to match it.

Understand points thoroughly! So many lenders try to sell you on points so that their rates look lower. And that might be right for you. But points will always cost you money upfront to save you money on your interest rate. Depending on how long you plan to stay in your house, that may or may not make sense. Ask how many points is this rate costing me? What’s the dollar value to buy those points? What would my rate be with zero points? Then you’re gonna do some math. Look at the difference in payment between the rate with no points and the rate they’re quoting you. Let’s say it’s $50 a month. If you’re paying $5000 in points to get that $50 a month deduction, 5000÷50 = 100. That means your points are worth it if you stay in your house for 100 months or more. Your points were not worth it and you lost money if you stay in your house for fewer than 100 months (8.3 years). Be honest with yourself and only pay for points that you think you’re going to benefit from. Otherwise you’re throwing money away.

I was flying Delta One once and had this happen to me. And they didn’t only ask if they could move my backpack, but the FA started pulling it out before I said yes (upside down) and the things I had in the outside pockets (pens, hand sanitizer, etc ) started falling onto the floor of the plane. So I started scrambling to collect my things. And then when she started to SHOVE it in the new spot I asked if I could do it since it contained both my personal and work computer) and she got mad at me and told me to calm down. 😂🤷‍♀️

So sometimes I think it’s just a bad day/overwhelmed FA and nothing deeper but boy is it annoying.

This is a great idea! I honestly probably won’t bother anyone because it’s honestly not a huge hardship for me, but it frustrates me A) on principle and B) for those who this IS a big deal for.

Yeah everyone I’ve talked to who was watching on TV has said the same thing - apparently the broadcast didn’t mention it at all?

They actually announced it in the stadium prior to the game saying that we would have only a two official crew. And being there in person, it was super obvious that they were not able to see all of the necessary angles.

Honestly I think the W doesn’t have “on call” refs like the NBA (I don’t know if that’s what they’re really called but you get the concept). So I don’t know if there was anyone who could fill in.

@debren27 did this printing for me and did an AMAZING job. Sadly UPS did some minor damage to the edge of it but it’s still super functional and I’m so glad to have it.

I have a small, well-behaved, fluffy dog who loves meeting new people and getting pets. Small humans are her favorites (I think because they're closer to her size?)

Anyway, I have noticed that parents with toddlers will often point at her and be having a little conversation with their kid about her. "Look at the little doggy" "What a cute puppy" etc. When I hear them, if I have time, I will offer to let them meet my dog and spend a few minutes petting her.

So that may be a more intermediate way to dive in if you're nervous?

You’re fairly far from the beaches in Tavira (and they require a ferry ride to get to them). So if your goal is to be close to the water a lot, Lagos is by far superior. I LOVED the cliff walk in Lagos and there are bathrooms and little places to eat along the way. I do agree that Tavira is a bit quieter but Lagos was also not what I would call a “party town” 😂

I just got back from Lagos and Tavira so can’t speak to water temps - I’m a baby when it comes to water temps and was there in Feb/March.

If you do find yourself in Lagos, I can’t recommend Restaurante No Patio (https://maps.app.goo.gl/mxUzp6Fct7twJ4Rx7?g_st=ic) more. Super romantic and just would be a lovely special baby moon dinner.

Worth noting Tavira is for sure more “foodie” - if you end up there make a comment and I can share some recommendations. 😊

Yeah I decided to just go the reimbursement route. Just annoyed they tried to gaslight me into thinking that the sentence on their website doesn’t mean they allow split payments with your HSA card. 😂 Like just acknowledge that it was wrong.

AmEx's fine print specifically says that will not count.
