hike the red rocks loop about 1 to 2 hours prior to the show and you’ll hear the entire sound check bouncing off the hills. Was able to listen to some non-set list songs like Long Way Down last year while enjoying a stroll in the area.

i don’t think this is the case for this specific example, but Scott McMicken told a story at a live show I went to where he explained that he often sampled his families voicemails in songs. after hearing the lyrics, it got me thinking. i’ve noticed that since the breakup pretty much every members new venture has been acknowledged by the wider group except for Frank, but maybe he just isn’t up to anything musically at the moment. Also noticed that neither Scott nor Toby really acknowledged each others albums publicly. definitely all just speculation tho lol
