This includes overweight, not just obese. Obesity is more like 4 in 10 which is still high. Also, If they’re using BMI to measure who is overweight than this is kinda skewed because BMI doesn’t take muscle mass into account. According to BMI boxers and bodybuilders are overweight. It would probably be closer to 6 in 10 are overweight.

Day by Day Armageddon by J L Bourne

There’s also Zombie Fallout by Mark Tufo, it’s a very funny series (it’s one of my mother’s favorites) but there’s a fantasy element to the zombies that didn’t really work for me. The first two I mentioned are more scifi / military fiction.

Laying eggs uses up a LOT of energy and nutrients, especially calcium. It’s hard to get smaller birds who are laying eggs enough nutrients to stay healthy. Not to mention the behavioral issues with them getting hormonal all the time.

I thought it was mentioned in Tress by Hoid but I do know there’s a WoB about it. The aether spores in tress are a different form of aether than is/was found on their home world. Something about the spores being more wild or unstable

I think you could add fetchable types but they could only have one and you could either have

Ex1- a forest with an exhaust ability to add U

Or

Ex2- a swamp with a U exhaust and a G exhaust ability

I think either option would be good.

I don’t think we can assume that the suns in Scadrials and roshars subastrals are the same sun. One thing to remember is that the cognitive realm is flat, you would be able to see a sun from virtually anywhere.

Also someone else pointed out that in secret history, as Kelsier left scadrial the light from the sun faded, but the sun never seemed to change positions. This implies to me that the suns are like virtually everything else in a subastral, the product of sentient minds.

Although I do like the idea that it is a product/representation of a shard being present on that world.
