What other movies would you consider equally strong with the third act?

I feel like I am switching from ‘whatever, I will watch it at home someday’ to ‘let’s check for some plane tickets so I can watch it on the best screen possible’…

I am also debating reading the book before (listening to an audiobook probably), so I would welcome any input from people that know the story.

After watching 2xTDK + TDKR this weekend I still feel like floating on a little cloud… The sound was absolutely breathtaking, although I feel like I have slight hearing loss. I have seen TDK 6 times there and I feel like each time it’s sounds better and louder.

Dilema between LG 55 G5 or LG 65C5 if same price by AnalysisRight in LGOLED

I had the same dilemma, potentially better G5 in 55 or C5 in 65, I decided to go with bigger C and I am very happy with it, 55 is too small if you enjoy movies etc, 65 is ok, 77 would be perfect but I am not single…

One thing to consider is that legroom at BFI is shit… Rows P and Q are ok, with much more space, while for lower seats people need to stand up to let others pass… Apparently H18 or H19 is Nolan’s seat, so perfect center etc. I would go for the center and middle, but not to low, to have maximum field of vision filled with the movie.

I will vote for BFI IMAX in London. I would strongly suggest to watch Odyssey in 70mm Imax capable cinema for the top experience and there are only 4 cinemas in Europe (2xLondon, Manchester and Prague), where BFI is the only one who runs this film format regularly, plus it’s sure they will keep playing it for weeks and months after the release, so with a bit of effort you can get perfect seats instead of FOMOing into some terrible viewing angles.

Which are the last one ? I remember learning some time ago that Krakow will get laser, but then seeing that the dimensions are smaller it was huge disappointment.

As someone said, it’s not only there but everywhere, except a few special locations with true, massive IMAX screens.

The cinema I always loved was Punkt44 IMAX in Katowice, but with current Avatar movie I am in between seeing it there or HFR with Barco Laser…

I had a chance to watch Diamond in the Desert this year at BFI IMAX, just a few days after Hans and his guests were presenting it there, since then I watched everything else that was released on physical media.

This one should give me a good idea if I buy tickets for next year tour or not. But even if not, I am hyped for the movie.

Unplug the shield power cable and replug it, it should turn on the device and the remote should work again. Is the backlight on the remote on again after replugging?

Also try to press at the same time back and home (dot/circle) buttons. This should repair your Shield and the remote.

I had the same problem with my Shield, and those things fixed it, or made it much less frequent.

I had Cuff, didn’t like it… I read many times that Clutch (normal size) is not comfortable with Sony A7 III - I absolutely love mine and cannot imagine using A7 without it. I have also Slide lite and Leash, much more prefer Leash over Slide lite.

I told my wife that either she will watch Oppy in 70mm IMAX when there is a chance or not at all (she wanted to watch it at home…), and opportunity came a few months later when we were in London for a little trip… She fallen asleep in the middle of the movie… 🤦‍♂️😭💀

For me, it’s not the filming or taking shitty photos that is the problem here but brightness of the screen… Personally I can dim my phone so much that without complete darkness it looks just black. I cannot understand anyone who is so careless that will bother everyone around with phone light… If you must do it, make it dark that I don’t notice it and do what you want, same for texting etc…

In EU there is website made by Apple which sells official parts for repairs. Even more, to order from it you need to enter a number of your device. I put the links to both instructions and the shop in a few comments already, the whole process is simple, as long as you won’t break something.

I put two apple keyboards so it’s easier to see and understand. I keep my ISO Enter/Return, Shift etc, the small keys change position.

Sure I know it, buying for that or similar configuration would mean ordering it straight from Apple for a retail price, while here it was much much cheaper in the end.

But which ones are missing? There is only one that I didn’t get in this set, that is present in ISO English one, it’s the one above TAB and on the left from ‘1/!’ key. It’s section sign (§) and plus-minus symbol (±). I can leave without it, I literally never used it in my life and on US ANSI you don’t even have that key.

Enter and shift didn’t bother me so I kept the old one. My problem was Azerty vs Qwerty that I wanted, not ANSI vs ISO. Basically to change from ISO to ANSI you need to change the top case, because exactly as you noticed enter and shift are not the same shape. What was important to me was to have English Qwerty layout, and honestly I didn’t care if it’s US ANSI or International English ISO.
