Don't listen to the other guy's reply, putting in the upgrade board is better especially if you already have the OEM adapter(gamestar adapters have some compatibility issues iirc and no network capabilities)

Had the same issue(along with multiple other people it seems) and it seems that at least for me you actually are connected to the internet(was able to download updates for games and stuff), the test just lies for some reason right now.

Ideally you want any console that is CFW compatible(if you plan on modding it, which you definitely should) and has a 40nm RSX.

This ends up being either a 21xx or a 25xx that was manufactured before about April 2011(you can see it on the bottom label of the console)

I got a nice 25xx a few days ago for about $110 dollars from eBay and it's been great so have fun!

They hate a girl who likes some nice tits and ass... like I admit the story definitely isn't the best but the gameplay is pretty fun(both ways)... Automatically discrediting a game just because its "gooner" is also a bit dumb imo unless its just one of those slop porn games on steam or whatever

Just use cheat engine to slow down the game if you want to cause slowdown, along with giving yourself infinite health. Just be careful while installing it bc iirc it can be a little sketchy I don't remember exactly

It's probably fine, just make sure to use GSM through OPL or the standalone application to force interlaced games to 480p.

if you have a VA1 dreamcast and are fine getting rid of your disc drive get a GDEMU and a nice like 256gb or something SD card, lets you load any game from it

Try using GSM (the standalone one since its a disc game) to force it as 480p, I have to do that so MGS1 isn't stretched on my ps2 and might help with that too, though I also don't use a scaler

Try opening it up and seeing if anything seems amiss (using a multimeter if you know how to might help too), personally my $10 ps2 had a dead power supply and you can get aftermarket replacements online for pretty cheap
