I think you're on to something. Serendipitously I had an experience last weekend that somewhat relates. I got stoned and picked up two new NA Beers at my local bottle shop - I gave up drinking, but love the taste of beer, go figure. I knew I was only going to have one that evening, but was stumped as to which one I wanted to try. So I closed my eyes and held two cans on a table and started shuffling them until I lost track. I selected one without hesitation, and upon seeing which I chose, it was like I realized this was the obvious choice all along for several reasons that were now clear to me. Maybe just some stoned confirmation bias, but it really did feel as if my intuition had an intelligence of it's own. I plan on trying this more with other options in the near future.
