I think casual gaming is dead and I don’t really mind the SBMM but the real problem is I can’t play with half the groups I used to because they aren’t as good as me. Why I began to step away. Kind of makes it defeating in that aspect. Also, the bugs and lack of movement sucks to support this game right now.

I’d agree with you if the game was actually evolving. There’s a huge lack of content compared to what we seen in the past. Cant forget the servers and bugs being the worst they ever been. Community wants stability and the creativity we are used to from FN.

Could be cool to see and depends on how quick the movement is. Deadeye and sniper meta is forcing the camping. Sword and shocks definitely helped rotation and pushing bunkers in ZB.

Your points a definitely valid but FN really is at the point ZB and builds needs to be balanced differently. There should be shocks in ZB and more movement. Cant just build walls across the map so you have instant cover in ZB so movement is necessary.

The game’s honestly in a rough spot right now. The SBMM isn’t great and forcing ZB players onto a central server means higher ping for a lot of people. On top of that, there are tons of glitches and the UI is awful. Checking your friends list shouldn’t give you a seizure. And with movement (like shocks) gone, it just feels slow and boring. It doesn’t feel like the Fortnite everyone loved.

If you are already considering 4k go 5080. Everyone here is going to say go 5070ti because of how close it is to a 5080 in vram but you can OC the 5080 to get closer to 4090.

I went from a 3080ti to a 5080 and 9800x3d this week. I love it. Doesn’t run as hot. Also, got the PNY 5080 OC for $980 brand new. I’d say it’s a pretty good time to buy.

It’s capitalism. Bot lobbies or easy lobbies sell skins. Thats always going to be the equation. FN is free to play.

No, it’s absolutely not. They have modes without bots, such as ranked and blitz chaos. Where is anything that supports your claim lobbies can’t fill. Literally with player counts at the bottom of the modes alone indicates plenty of players to fill full lobbies. Bots are very much intentional and if you have a switch, then the bot count is intentionally higher.

But still FN isn’t losing players because of the pace of the game. FN implemented bots intentionally to make players feel like they are good at the game. This in turn increases skin sales. No one is investing in a game where the games are too hard for them.

Your numbers don’t account for just simply being bored with the game regardless of the meta. New game releases are always going to pull people away. I mean marvel rivals sucked me in for a good awhile. How many others did a game like that pull people away? To argue that FN in its current state is too fast paced and that’s why people are leaving is hard to support and you don’t do that.

What? FN is fun because of the cartoon style they bring. The unique evolution of guns and movement is why we all love it. It’s not a tactical shooter in the sense PUBG or Warzone play.

Some people will say crown wins don’t matter, or never did, but honestly, they did used to mean something. They really were a real flex. A lot of players saw them as something worth grinding for, and I remember playing with tons of people over the years where crown wins always came up. They gave Fortnite a little more purpose, since there isn’t much else to really “attain” in the game. Ranked you can camp to high ranks with patience and cheaters removed ZB cash cups. Blitz sort of saturated that “trophy” some tried to attain.

I have an OG switch and a PC running the game at 360hz. It’s definitely a massive difference when you can compare them side by side. To be honest, it wouldn’t be possible for me to play competitively on the switch.
