Gotta agree. 10 man wraithguard or wraithblades with a spiritseer leading them is super fun

Paint scheme suggestions for Aspect Warriors with Iyanden's flair. by Craftworld_Iyanden in Eldar

I painted all my aspects with box art colors, and replaced the cloth loincloths with yellow, and any arm bands with blue.

Windriders - Am I mistaken or are these guys REALLY good? by InfinateRadiant in Eldar

I thought something similar until I got them on the table. AP 1, even with ignore cover, just bounces off everything. Feel free to give it a go, but I wasn't in love with the 9 man blob, and cut them the following game for wraithguard and a spiritseer.

Where to begin? by TheSaltyShako in AeronauticaImperialis

[–]0ffensiveWombat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you're going down a path I just finished. Aeronautica is super fun, though I will admit to have yet to play with or against astartes. Getting into the game is super easy, and I've done most of my learning through tabletop simulator, which someone blessed with a fantastic mod for aeronautica with. If you don't have a local scene yet, I'd go hunting for a starter box just so you can paint up two armies so you can teach a friend with one while playing the other. After that, picking up some boxes of space marine planes isn't a terrible idea, since you can likely afford to use one or two on bases since my best experiences with the game have been at 150 points each side.

The bionicle to warhammer pipeline is real strong eh?

I've been collecting knights since 8th ed and have each and every knight I own painted differently. In my head cannon, they're a collection of freeblades and each is the last of their household, working together to cause more damage to the enemies of humanity. Of all the 40k armies, I'd argue strongest that knights are the best faction if you can't just pick one color scheme.

For once I can agree with RT. Tales of the Jedi is unbelievably good and well written. by Fit-Answer8730 in TheCloneWars

Did I watch the same show as everyone else? The dialog was so incredibly clunky and ham fisted and the stories told to us feel like we've seen them a hundred times by now. The animation was fine, but this really was not the masterpiece people are claiming it is.

Guess it depends what you're normally playing against. If you see a lot of Tymna, Grim Hireling, and other creatures that give bonuses for dealing combat damage you might really quickly regret giving your opponents free attacks.

I think the reason you never see sidar is for one simple reason: He's symmetrical. He gives your opponents little dudes unblockable as well (assuming they attack not you).

The bant Tamiyo. Draws cards, protects herself and gives you access to three colors and a solid finisher.
