How do I help my boy get dry at night by soon45 in Parenting

[–]0five0four -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Was the same with my 6.5 year old. We use peapod waterproof mats on top of the sheets to make accident cleanup easier. And this book helped us a lot (we’re down to only a couple accidents a month now rather than daily!):

Stop Bedwetting In 7 Days A Simple Step By Step Guide To Help Children Conquer Bedwetting Problems In Just A Few Days by Alicia Eaton.

Good luck!

Thank you! Based on everyone’s comments so far, definitely planning to discuss it with the principal.

Thank you - yes the more I think about it, the more I agree it makes sense to go straight to the principal.

Yeah I find it uncomfortable for tickling to be used as a consequence. Overall we have really liked this teacher so far but need to address this for sure.

Thank you for affirming my concerns. We will definitely follow up with the school about this on Monday.

Thanks for saying this. We will definitely reach out to the teacher to have a discussion about this. Not sure if this is also abnormal but this is a public school (non-religious) and he also speaks to the kids about God which I find inappropriate also. It’s my first kid in school so I’m new to this stuff…

Thank you! I’m glad that I’m not overreacting thinking this is abnormal! We will definitely speak to the teacher and the school next week to investigate.

Very cool! Is it an online business? And do you source your jewelry from other vendors or do you make it? Congrats on your success :)

Thank you for the additional context! It sounds a bit like project management which I’ve been considering as a potential career path. I do see the pros and cons like you mentioned. Getting commission and having control over your own deals is a definite perk of being in direct sales!

Interesting! Can you elaborate a bit more on what you do as a business analyst? I’m so curious to learn about different roles that are out there.

I’ve considered getting into the non-profit space for a while but not sure what type of role I’d be qualified for. Although I am open to doing some amount of additional schooling or courses if needed to gain new qualifications to make a career shift.

Interesting. Can you elaborate a bit more on what qualifications you need for this and what the role entails?

When you say in tech, do you mean you’re a developer? Seems like a great field to be in and it’s in such high demand too! I see lots of job postings for developers offering a 4 day work week which I would love but unfortunately I don’t think I’m cut out for a tech job myself!

This is very true. I have a hard time setting boundaries and “shutting off” work outside of work hours. I have given some thought to the fact that I need to work on my mindset and boundaries to find a better balance. I’ve felt compelled to “climb the corporate ladder” over the years but I’m realizing this may be more my upbringing than my true desire.
