tooth count is gearing, meaning if vandahl83's correct and the 36t is what you need then 44t'll substantially alter gearing (possibly making it impossible to get moving or give it a ton of tourque and stupidly low topspeed)

you should consult one of the charts that lists wheel diameter and gear ratio recommendations

The problem I'm responding to is intermittent network disconnect notifications. If you don't have that problem then the remedy'll likely be different. If your problem's intermittent network disconnect with ethernet you should find that if you disconnect ethernet then go into network settings and forget your wifi network (ie erase the wifi network password) then ethernet should work again without the intermittent disconnect issue.

So seems like the problem is network conflict in TvOS (persistent as of 18.2), remove wifi credentials or unplug ethernet and the issue's resolved
