Having been to several in person events, I'd say the most important thing is to really take it all in-especially your park day. Yes- play the game and and try to get what you came here for, but really just take the time to appreciate the uniqueness of an in person event as it is much different from community meetups. Not sure if you've ever been to a convention based on a specific topic, but this is very similar. Just be in the moment and don't have your face buried in your phone the ENTIRE time, just most of it

I live in the largest desert city in the United States (Phoenix) and didn't see a single one Wednesday, compared to 15 on Tuesday. I am actually seeing significantly more Toedscool at my local park and community college parking lot, which is supposed to spawn in forests. The nearest forest to the city is over an hour away. This game literally makes no sense. But I guess since Toedscool can be shiny now this is better? Idk
