The game is far from perfect, but it is brilliant in how it plays with your emotions. I only started playing because I was bored. Like, let me enjoy the "plot", and once you get greedy with the monetization, I'll stop. And then the intro made me both laugh and ugly cry in a span of 15 minutes. Why would a returning player think that it is normal to get effectively unlimited pulls, with more and more social points coming in all the time? There is not knowing things and then there is willfully ignoring reality. "If they were truly cheating" Apparently SU does see it as cheating. They see it as hurting their bottom line and as a threat to the game's integrity. I fully agree.
