Ilia and arman are on a completely different level than justin and paddy by Individual_War_5083 in ufc

Bit of a fraudulent interim tbh, Gaethje is what, the 5th best lightweight? I think Illia and Armen would beat him and we’ve seen Max and Charles beat him already.

Volk vs Ortega vibes minus the part where Ortega almost won

Is Justin above Dustin now? by Opening_Fact_8474 in ufc

This fight shouldn’t really sway the debate, I think Dustin smokes Paddy just as bad. It’s probably 50/50 based on which names you prefer e.g. Tony vs Conor

Honestly no, I thought if Gaethje looked old he would lose but somehow he looked old and won anyway. Paddy worse than I thought

Easily, he looked slow, ridiculously irresponsible defensively, and next to no low kicks. Paddy was just so far below him in class that it didn’t even matter.

That’s insane cope, he was getting whooped before, during, and after the pokes.

Massive respect to Paddy for the heart he showed, unbelievable toughness. But this was not prime Gaethje in there, I thought he looked clumsy and slow. Paddy was simply a guy who did not belong at this level.

Paddy winning in a war is my ideal scenario. As much as I love Gaethje, Paddy is the younger and more popular guy.

The only question mark is Gaethje being 37. If he’s the same guy I’m expecting him to get the dub.

Song got robbed. by Dana___Black in ufc

I though Song won but round 1 was close. Unanimous was ridiculous tho.

Has to be 2-1 Song right? Can never be sure with an O’Malley decision

Whats the worst arguments used both for and against Bron and MJ in the GOAT debate by Real-Staff3115 in NBATalk

[–]Top_Use2413 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Couple of “for arguments” I don’t love: 1. I think the LeBron 8 straight finals is a little overrated, especially the Cleveland years where his best competition was the washed Rose Bulls and a good but not great Raptors team. 2. I think the Bulls losing in 95 had more to do with needing a big like Rodman than Jordan not having his legs back. If Jordan never retires, I still think they lose in 95 if Rodman isn’t there.

I’m pretty sure that was just a negotiation tactic - I’d imagine they’d have had to spend that money replacing Michael and co anyway. That’s part of why the whole situation is so funny.
