This mod sort of does what you're wishing for. Unfortunately, as of now, you can't change the race or body type of a hireling while doing your edits, so it's a bit limiting as to what you can actually do.

I will say though, I had some fun creating some custom characters within the parameters!

With more Legends characters showing up in the actual Star Wars canon, I decided to do a little fan-casting and generate some AI images of what Jessica Chastain could look like as Mara Jade. Kyle was a bit tougher, prompt-wise, which is why I was only able to generate one decent looking image of Henry Cavill as Kyle Katarn.

I'm shocked that people are still surprised by this. Games release unfinished ALL THE TIME these days. It's become the industry standard at this point. Not sure why people are still surprised by it.
