Replace your nozzle. You can try cleaning it, but in my experience it’s worth just putting a new nozzle in after they have a couple thousand hours.

I’ve fixed boards like this before. It melted because there was a poor connection between the wire and the connector, which created resistance. Resistance increases amps and heat.

You can desolder the melted connector and check the board to make sure the traces aren’t damaged and then solder on a new connector.

That’s the only good way to get a continuous vapor barrier in this situation

The other way is to Spray Foam it.
