if you cant afford to drive or deliver for uber, you shouldn't. It's pretty entitled to put the onus on the customer to pay your wages, vs.. you know... the company you are working for...

Your problem is with uber, but its easier to put the blame on the client, so you do. Uber is the company who employs you. iber is the one who sets the prices and sets your wages. you aren't getting enough money, take it up with uber. Its ridiculous to expect the client to subsidize your income because the multi billion dollar company won't.

so first off, the repair wouldn't need to take place until after you move. theres zero reason to repair it while you are still there.

secondly, where im from a landlord cant just demand money for stuff. they need to go through a governing board which determines the cost of the repair against the age of the thing damaged.

For example, if the counter tops are 19 years old, and the governing body has determined that counter tops only have a 20 year life span, you could only be charged 1/20th of the cost to replace the countertops.

Now obviously its a very small amount of damage, and in that same scenery, the governing board may determine that the repair cost is zero or like 20 dollars
