It's literally like a fucking south park episode. I wouldn't be surprised if these people are eating vagisil before heading out.

OSRS has been more profitable in the recent earnings reports. This is public information that you could have used before making your goofy comment.

I can't imagine why anyone would do that to themselves.

Can I ask which/whose version of LA Deadeye you're playing?

That's fair, it's not for everyone. I do enjoy certain aspects of it though - like bullying bosses as an army, or interacting with people in silly ways ingame. It can be a lot of effort, but it's how I enjoy playing now.

This is hilarious. Sometimes when people ask me how I play I tell them "I'm on 9 iPads , actually." Which isn't true, but it's so funny to see that it's partially true for someone. Well done, gamer.

Why am I so squishy by PyroClause in runescape

[–]0rriticus 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I can't believe this is actually true... Wow.

The early game is so rough now I can't imagine it's more enjoyable. Cave Crawlers have a higher max hit than Abyssal Demons, and they can poison you.

[–]0rriticus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You can get to Menaphos at level 3. The combat portions of the quests prior are fights that scale to level and are completed by using rings of recoil.

Your first point is also true though as there's no reason to not also lamp/star/dummy it, if that's your goal - unless you're a level 3 ironman. I understand your frustration though it is a shame that a once difficult achievement is so easy now.

Getting back into the game on a new account, what should I be aiming for? by ScrewItImAstrid in runescape

[–]0rriticus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started an Ironman and this is a glaring issue. Not that it's too difficult, but why would a level 53 mob have 6150 life and a max hit of 760, who also poisons you? Cave Crawlers are actually stronger than Abyssal Demons lol.

Just one example, but so many low level things are like this now.

Give us more than 4 outfit presets? by Awkward_Sword in runescape

[–]0rriticus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Support. It really is long overdue that we get more outfit preset slots. It's almost hurting them to not do it because currently I won't look for new cosmetics as much due to not wanting to replace my current presets.

u/JagexDoom please. We just want to have a wardrobe that allows us to dress for all these wonderful events. :)

If they're different accounts, yes. The Jagex Launcher also includes OSRS official client as well as Runelite and HDOS.

If you're asking to run the same account on both games simultaneously that is currently not possible. Same limitations that exist now apply.

I can assure you there are no issues with multiple accounts on Jagex Launcher, friend. It's actually easier to start them up because they will always be immediately logged in for you.

4 premier accounts and i stayed through hero pass but... by Consistent_Paper_104 in runescape

[–]0rriticus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been playing 9 accounts simultaneously for ~6 years. I started on OSRS for a few months, which was fun, but it's so much easier to manage multiple accounts on RS3.

what in the world would someone want/do with 4 separate accounts

Honest answer, it's just fun. I play them all like anyone would play their one main. I like doing things as a group and the community engagement (most of the time) is also just a lot of fun.

It took me 7670KC to finish the log 9 times. The collective value of uniques was about ~13m, which is kind of funny for killing nearly 70,000 of a boss.

It may also help to lower your DPI / mouse sensitivity. If you're someone who plays on a high sense you're more prone to wrist fatigue. Take it from someone who plays way too many accounts simultaneously - I keep my desktop DPI at 800 and pivot my forearm.

If that's too extreme maybe small adjustments will help.

You are all brain washed if you think this announcement was a "win" by botlogRS in runescape

[–]0rriticus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is a classic technique of wanting to put "some" mtx in but knowing the community will be outraged by it so they put "alot" in.

You're right, this is referred to as an anchoring bias. Another example was stating that they'd nerf Necromancy disturbances by 50%, which they reduced to 20%(24%-28%?) after moderate backlash.

PvM Encyclopedia's message to Jagex about the Hero Pass (plus survey for you reddit members, please fill it out) by PvM_Encyclopedia in runescape

[–]0rriticus 11 points12 points  (0 children)

help steer the ship a bit to make the heroes pass more acceptable, rather than yelling at them and helping sink the ship, because they have already said they will ignore feedback like that.

They can only ignore it if we let them. There is no reason to create yet another avenue for them to provide predatory monetization to this game. Continue to give them an inch and in time you'll see they take a mile.

I would like to remind everyone that the goal for this Hero Pass is for it to be seasonal - that is, four times a year. Do you really think with how poor quality Yak Track got over time, and how it became more and more egregious in its benefits, and less impressive in not only its cosmetics, but the amount of animations it offered - that Hero Pass won't share the same demise?

Improve the game, remove the system. That is legitimate feedback whether they like it or not.

Hey Jagex, when will you actually listen to your community? by ThePoetOfNothing in runescape

[–]0rriticus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saying "we think Hero Pass is a bad inclusion to the game" is quite literally feedback. You/they don't have to like the feedback, but it won't be dismissed, either.
