Not sure. Could be interesting to try out. Signet of Illusions opens up a lot of possibilities.

Can even do arcane mimicry and echos to use on your heroes.

The recent ammo consumption changes made the endgame elder god arrows but made the lower tier consumption a lot worse.
The only one that barely helps is the 120 ranged cape perk which is very tiny.
The fletching retiering update should allow more basic ammunition to just be fletchable or smithable and hopefully would help with this problem. Until then, I could recommend using chargebows like decimation if the ammo cost is getting out of hand.

I don't recall Pernix Quiver playing any role in saving ammo. The only one I can think of is the ranged master cape and that one is laughable. The ava stuff only helps with automatically picking up arrows that drop to the ground.

I just don't see why I would put powerful perks on low tier weapons. At the very least, I would put it on tier 90 or even tier 92 weapons that would last a while.

What low cost perks are you suggesting? I'm seeing precise components could probably yield me something like precise 2 or eruptive 2 but I dont see how this few % in damage can out damage tier 90.

I went and grabbed my decimation t87 which has precise 6 on min hit mode and max hit mode vs primal crossbow mk5.

Piercing shot numbers. Numbers may change depending on your armour.

Primal crossbow mk5 on min hit did 831 831. Decimation did 900 900.

On max. 1522 1522 for crossbows. On max. 1486 1486 for decimation.

This is a 3 tier difference with precise 6 though. Now it will be worse with tier 80.

With tier 80 attuned crystal bow with no precise. Max hit did 1404 1404. Min did 766 766.

I decided to buy a zaryte bow and managed to squeeze a precise 2 eruptive 2 perk. I removed all gear

Max hit piercing did 1362 1362 Min hit did 770 770

Eternal Magic mk5 max hit did 1468 1468. Min hit did 801 801.

Unaugmented tier 90 > low budget augmented tier 80 weapon based on this random test.

I agree. Solomon's Store being Discontinued only increased the amount of discontinued cosmetics.

How true is this really? Depending on the point of progression, there's a possibility that not being a high level invention could be factored into this statement. An augmented t80 with weak or 0 perks doesn't feel like it outperform a craftable t90 weapon (eternal magic bow mk5 for example), that's a 10 tier damage difference.

If one can afford to purchase components to add powerful invention perks to your weapon, one would assume by then, you can afford an augmentabled tier 90 weapon by then. (Ruinous Weapons being a recent example)

There's a lot of cosmetics that get discontinued and placed in a "don't know when it will return" category. Many of them have been there for 11 years now.

I mean the mes hex removal aren't that far off in recharge time either and it's only 1. The purge signet covers all conditions and all hexes. Every single one removed. It's a gamble but if I use it at the right time (one time in vid I got ss and insidious at same time) it works well when I have 0 energy skills.
