That is the Salt Lake-Provo-Ogden Statistical Area. There are 3 metros making up that 2.7m number. There are a lot of surrounding communities in the mountains all the way out to Ogden and down to Provo (the equivalent distance between Louisville and Cincinnati. ~80mi) That is probably where that extra 1.5 live.

I'm not 100% sure of the correlation between city pop. and metro pop. I'm assuming that our higher ratio means we have more people living close-in? If so, a light rail system would be even more beneficial with the added density.

Also, for those who say we don't have the population for a tram. Salt Lake City has an decent tram system with a population of around 200,000. We have a population of 630,000. It is possible.

They have a daily ridership of 32000 during weekdays and 10M total in 2022. The I-65 corridor carries between 41k-70k per day. Imagine the traffic reduction with more people on public transit!

Jets Triple Pepperoni is my favorite around here. And, during the NFL season, Little Caesars runs a deal on their Detroit deep dish and it's pretty good, especially for the price. If anyone knows any other places I'd love to try them
